The inaugural Elms Ibiza Cup held between the 9th and 16th
June was a fantastic success with a memorable week being had by all
participants.
Day one sorted out the men from the boys and it was Boomer who became the only UK representatives in the final shoot out.
Finals day itself was played out in some 30 degrees of heat and it was not suprising that the Ibiza based Ibiza Dream team came through to win. Perhaps they were more acclimitised to the heat and the beer and the very late nights.
Clearly Foxed put up a great performance in the plate
competition to come second and so nearly grabbing the glory.
The best goal of the tournament was scored by Iby from the
Teathers team a beautiful 30 yard fire cracker which will live long in the
memory and just had to be shown over and over again on the videos in the bars.
A real show stopper which is quite an achievement in Ibiza.
Billy Baxter from Boomer was the overall top scorer in the whole competition and Clearly Foxed won the fair play award
This was an excellent week, full of good football played to a high standard in searing heat, excellent night life and plenty of beer and fun.
Next years' competition which will be held during the last
week of June and will have an International flavour with teams from Germany,
France, Spain. Italy, and Belgium is one not to be missed and enquiries are

better reason to get out of someone else's bed whilst on holiday in Ibiza"
Alistair Donald from Boomer said " We all really enjoyed the football and the holiday and we will be back next year. Scott and I in particular are keen to defend our "twats of the week title" Can we have the same refs next year as it's our only chance of winning"
